Hello Parents of Class # 29

It's been 2 weeks since Family Day and what I saw in my son was amazing. How his conversation was impressed us his family, I quote " if you have a negative attitude, that makes you have negative thoughts and do negative things" "You have to focus and be positive".

We as parents were just so proud, but he also had to do some push ups for fraternizing (looking at young ladies) he did them without any back talk, apologized and moved on.

Chaz has matured in this past month, this has been the first time he was away from his parents. We continue to send letters at least once or twice a week and he says that it is helping to hold him down also. He writes often too.

Parents, Friends and Family, keep writing to your Cadet and keep instilling in them why they are there and to stay in line with NJYCA Plan and all will go well for them. This is their first major challenge in their young adult life and there will be many, many more, but this will help guide them.
Chaz has a strong family support. Everyone Support your Cadet as much as possible.
