[QUOTE=Ashley's Dad]Just a heads up on things. Believe it or not some parents send their children NOTHING why they are in this program. No mail/No supplies No NOTHING..
Its not the childs fault though.
I want to suggest when you send a box of paper and pencils etc out to your child send a box of the same to the Plt itself for that child that didnt get anything from home.
Things all children need now before Sept 1st is Kiwi boot shining kits and startch. They need the Shining supplies so the boots they are wearing are shining all nice when they come marching in front of you for the 1st pass. The starch is needed so the uniform they will be wearing will be kicking butt and they ALL will be looking good.
Though I only have 1 child in the program now and am mentoring another I want all the kids to succeed that have made it this far.
Im sure alot of you will feel same way. So just send alittle extra and mark it for the Plt Sgt or for the PLT itself.
Your help will be Greatly appreciated and that child that has nothing will be given all the tools they will need to succeed.
See you all Sept 1st
Hi Bill I also would like to thank you, I was not aware of the needs of starch and such. I do send envelopes and stamps but was unaware of the other needs, she was livin with her father at the time she left to go to Commonwealth Challenge. I would love to hear from you or your wife to help me understand all the things that are needed. Please jot down my E-mail and contact me if you have any suggestions on what they need and what I could send to help the girls and boys.
