Medical Department

Essential Information for In-Processing

The following is a list of essential documents required by the NMYCA Medical Department.  These documents must accompany your child when they arrive at NMYCA at the time of in-processing:

• Current Health Insurance Cards
• Current immunization records
• Completed physical from a medical doctor

If your child is taking any prescribed medication, please make sure that they have a full month's supply and at least one (1) refill prescription from their doctor at the time of in-processing.  If your child is taking prescribed medication, please do not take them off of these medications in order to obtain admittance into NMYCA. Doing so can be detrimental to your child's health.

If your child wears any type of brace on a regular basis, please ensure they bring them at in-processing as they will need them here as well.

Finally, any candidate that wears prescription contacts is strongly urged to obtain prescription glasses instead.  Contact lenses are not practical in this environment.
