National Guard Youth Challenge The Mississippi ChalleNGe Academy (MCA) is part of the National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program. We serve male & female at-risk youth, 16-19 years of age. The MCA has graduated 28 classes to total 5,423 cadets to date.

The Mississippi ChalleNGe Academy has long been recognized as one of the pre-eminent ChalleNGe programs in the nation, having been previously selected as "BEST OVERALL", "BEST POST-RESIDENTIAL", and other key recognitions.  Our students enjoy one of the highest GED pass rates of all the ChalleNGe programs.  Each class produces top achievers across the spectrum of ChalleNGe activities.   Below is a list of the many individual awards that Mississippi ChalleNGe Academy graduates strive toward throughout the twenty-two week residential phase.
