How To Apply

For selection into the program, the applicant must be:

  • 16-18 years of age at the time of entry into the program.

  • A high school dropout is defined as a youth who is no longer attending any school and who has not received a secondary school diploma or certificate from a program of equivalency for such diploma.

  • A citizen or legal resident of the United States and resident of the District of Columbia.

  • Unemployed.

  • Not currently on parole or probation for other than juvenile status offenses, not awaiting sentencing, and not under indictment, charged, or convicted of a felony.

  • Free from use of illegal drugs or substances.

  • Physically and mentally capable to participate in the program with reasonable accommodation for physical and other disabilities.

We are now accepting Cadet Applications for Class 02-2007. Applications are accepted on a first come first served basis. All applications need to be turned in prior to pre-screening.
