I AM READY TO ENROLL IN PROJECT CHALLENGE. WHAT IS THE NEXT STEP?

  1. Fill out all paperwork necessary. All paperwork must be completed before we can schedule your interview.

    • Completed Application
    • Copy of Social Security Card or letter from Social Security verifying a new card has been requested
    • Copy of Birth Certificate
    • Medical Packet Completed, includes PHYSICAL exam, Vision Exam, and Dental Exam, Power of Attorney, and all other forms in packet
    • School transcript attendance report, and official drop out or parental withdrawal documentation

(All three documents must be received prior to your interview)
    • At least one completed mentor packet. Your second mentor packet will be required on intake day
    • Any applicable court documentation verifying that the student is not on probation, parole, or convicted of felonies
    • Essay (page 3 of application), handwritten and  signed by "you", the student). It must be at least 100 words and it must explain in detail why you want to enroll in Project ChalleNGe and what you expect to get out of the program

    2.  Once we have received this paperwork, we will contact you to schedule an interview board and a tour of the campus.  All applicants will be screened through an interview process.  You will come before a board of ChalleNGe staff including TAC Officers, Teachers, Counselors, and RPM staff to help you determine if this program is the right place for you. You may be asked to push your own limits during the interview and we expect nothing but your best efforts.

"We expect you to be dressed as though you are coming to a job interview."

Tuck in your shirt and do not wear a hat or jewelry. Address your parents and the staff with SIR or MA'AM and be prepared to follow all instructions given by staff when you are on campus. You will also have the opportunity to tour the campus and possibly meet our CM Ambassadors. You will be able to ask the CM Ambassadors questions about why they wanted to attend the program and how ChalleNGe is helping them reach their goals.
