Our Mission

With our ChalleNGe program the Arizona National Guard will be able to fill a void by providing a challenging military-based educational program in residence for high school dropouts who desire to succeed; thereby keeping with the theme developed by the National Guard Bureau of "Adding Value to America". The intent of our program is to challenge each participant academically, physically, psychologically, and emotionally so that they can function productively in our community.

Arizona's Project ChalleNGe has been operational since July of 1993. It is a two-part program. The first is a Residential Phase and the second is a Post-Residential phase. Since 1993 we have hosted 2 classes per year, with 100 students per class. The program accommodates both male and female students.
