Awards

The Academy has received numerous national and state awards for its service to the community programs, mentorship program (the largest in the State), drug & alcohol abuse prevention program, and academic excellence and innovative job skills training programs. These programs include culinary arts, industrial arts, emergency trauma technician, UPS Customer Service Training, and cooperative work experience programs.

The Academy is recognized by the Governor and State leadership as the State's premier secondary training school and has the distinction of winning First Place in the GCI Academic Decathlon, Small Schools Division Championship in 2004, 2006, 2007, and 2008.
