COMMONWEALTH CHALLENGE
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

1. OBJECTIVE AND INTENT.

The Virginia National Guard Commonwealth ChalleNGe Program sponsors a scholarship program. This scholarship program is designed to encourage graduates in the Post-Residential Phase of the program to pursue their education in an institution of higher learning.

Parent Association

Purpose: To create state and national interest in the Commonwealth ChalleNGe Program, to provide moral and financial support to the Program and to cooperate with the Program Director and the Adjutant General of the Virginia National Guard in carrying out the Program.

Cadet

WHAT IS REQUIRED OF THE CADET?

Requirements

The mentor serves as a role model, friend and advocate to a cadet for at least fourteen (14) months. The cadet shares the responsibilities for the relationship with the mentor and is accountable for progress toward his/her Life Plan.
