Only one mandatory orientation remains: Dec. 5, 2009.
All applicants wanting to attend class 34 (Jan. 2010) at the Texas ChalleNGe Academy are required to attend one of the the mandatory orientations in order to complete the selection process. Onsite tours will be given as well as the opportunity for you to meet and greet the staff. These orientations are held at the Texas ChalleNGe Academy in Sheffield, TX and last about 4-5 hours.
The applicant must be accompanied by a mother, father or legal guardian. The potential cadet must be wearing tennis shoes, gray sweat pants and a white t-shirt in order to be interviewed and considered for acceptance. Applicants will be interviewed to determine if they want to attend our program; they will also take a 40 minute academic test.
Each application will be reviewed for completeness. Note: the application is not complete until all documentation has been received at the Academy - including a complete mentor packet.
Please bring your completed application and all requested documentation to the orientation. Your application must be complete before being considered for acceptance.

Mentor training will be available as well starting at 9 a.m.
Note: There are no hotels in Sheffield and very few in Iraan. Please make arrangements in advance. Check for hotel availability in Ozona.
