    Life Changing Experience

Hi my name is William R. Rivera before I became a cadet, I was a  regular 18 year old  student in Miami FL. The only problem was that I fell behind 2 years, I dint go to school and all I thought about was being cool.So my mother send me to Puerto Rico to live with my father, when my father told me about this program that could help me to get my diploma in 6 month. But wen he told me that I had to stay 6 month without coming out, and that is was military, I really had to think about it. But by getting more information about the program and seeing that this was my last chance, I took the risk. And am not going to lie it was hard, really hard but if you are wiling to change and to make a better person out of yourself, then this is the place to get the help you need. The National Guard Youth Challenge Academy made me a better person , a more responsible person and the young strong man I am today. Thank's to the Youth Challenge Academy I got my diploma and I graduated with a 2.8, and now I live in Miami FL and am a Elevator tech, I got my own car and I help my mother financially, and the risk I took in the beginning became a life changing experience!Thank to the Youth challenge Academy and for my family.
