Are You 19 Or Soon To Be?

Thunderbird Youth Academy is offering a SHORT TERM program waiver allowing 19 year olds to enter our program effective 13 January 2008.

You will be required to:

In-Processing

In-Processing Day

Final Mandatory Check-in (all accepted candidates)

  • If you have been selected as a candidate for Pre-Challenge to compete for a seat in the next class, you will be notified of a designated location, date and time to report for checking into the Academy.
     
  • ONLY one parent/guardian allowed.  Boyfriends and girlfriends must say their goodbyes at home.  No pets are allowed on grounds.

Orientation & Interview (ONI)

  • After an application is received and reviewed, the family is contacted with the location, date and time for an interview and notified of any missing documents that are required.
     
  • Please notify TYA at least 24 hours in advance if you can not attend a scheduled interview.

The National Guard Bureau requires that all applicants to the Thunderbird Youth Academy (TYA) meet specific criteria before being accepted into the program.
