Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP)
During the Residential phase of the program, the cadet and mentor begin a relationship that will help to steer the cadet through the 12-month Post-Residential phase. In addition, the Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP) is introduced and developed during the Residential phase. The PRAP is a living document that will serve as a "road map" to guide graduates to a successful completion of the PR phase.
The PRAP workbook will include the following components developed by the cadet:
- Identify goals
- Review ChalleNGe placement requirements
- Examine placement options (Education, Military, Work)
- Plan for placement after graduation
- Create community living and fitness plans for after graduation
Success requires personal commitment, hard work, and a clear focus. All goals are written using the SMART GOALS format. Goals should be specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound.
