Mentor Training

The National Guard Challenge Bureau requires all mentors to attend a MENTOR TRAINING workshop before being officially matched to their cadet.  The training will address the mentor's role and requirements both during the Residential and Post-Residential phase of the program.  All prospective mentors will receive notification by mail concerning the mandatory training.

Mentor Training Day:

When:  Friday, 28 August 2009

Location:  TYA Auditorium - Pryor Campus

Time:  8:00 am - 3:00 pm

Who Should Attend:  All prospective mentors - In the event mentors are unable to attend this training, please contact Vicki Smiddy to arrange another training option.

• Dress code is casual. 
  
• Please be sure to RSVP your attendance & do not bring guests.  We are limited to space and food.
  
• Cadets and Mentors will not be allowed to leave post.
• TYA is a tobacco, drug and alcohol free program.  None of these items will be allowed on grounds.

8:00 am-12:00 pm     Mentor Training Workshop
12:00 pm-1:00 pm     Lunch with cadet provided for Mentors
1:00 pm - 2:00 pm     Complete Mentor Training
2:00 pm-3:00 pm       Mentor/Cadet activities & Closing
