Interviews

Orientation & Interview (ONI)

  • After an application is received and reviewed, the family is contacted with the location, date and time for an interview and notified of any missing documents that are required.
     
  • Please notify TYA at least 24 hours in advance if you can not attend a scheduled interview.
     
  • The applicant and parent/legal guardian must report for an interview.  If applicable, you will be advised of missing documents that are due within two weeks of the interview date.
     
  • Applicants will be interviewed by a TYA staff member.
     
  • Applicants will spend time with the Cadre staff to become familiar with the structured, in-your-face life style.
     
  • Please plan on spending about 2-3 hours for this process.
     
  • Applicant will receive a packet of documents about the program that should be kept for reference as required.  Families should keep copies of all documents with this packet.
