Post-Residential Mentors

We appreciate your continued involvement with your cadet!  We find that cadets are often nervous to leave NMYCA and return to the "real world" and continue on a positive path to success.  Your role as a Mentor can make a HUGE difference in your cadet's life...please continue to take your role seriously and with pride!

As you learned at Mentor Training, we ask that you keep us informed about our graduate.  This will involve submitting Mentor Monthly reports, as detailed below.

Mentor Reports

Mentor Monthly Reports are due by the 5th of the month.  During one of your face-to-face meetings each month, please review the Post-Residential Action Plan (PRAP).  Is your cadet on track?  Have plans changed?  If so, please indicate any changes in the Remarks Section.  Information given here reflects current involvement, not what they intend to do several months from now.

If you think your cadet could benefit from a contact from one of our staff this month (for a word of encouragement or a to light a fire) please indicate this in the Remarks Section.  Please note any changes/additions to your address in the Remarks Section as well.  If the cadet was charged with a law violation, please describe this in the Remarks Section.
