The Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program assists at-risk Montana youth in developing skills and abilities necessary to become productive citizens through focusing upon the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the youth within a highly structured environment.

Eligibility

 

Eligibility

The basic eligibility qualifications for acceptance into the program are:

  • Be a volunteer and willing to comply with the Program Regulations
  • Be withdrawn from high school, 16-18 years of age
  • Be a citizen or legal resident of the U.S. and a resident of Montana
  • Be drug free
  • Not be on parole or probation
  • No Felony
  • Be capable of passing a basic medical exam
  • Be subject to random drug testing
  • Have a desire to be challenged physically, emotionally, and academically

A mandatory drug screen will be conducted during Pre-ChalleNGe.  Applicants may not enter the Residential Phase if they test positive for the presence of illegal drugs.

Some things to remember about the Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program:

  • MYCP is a tobacco free program
  • MYCP is a closed campus environment (you can't come and go as you please)
  • MYCP is a volunteer program (you have to want to be here)
  • All students are subject to random drug testing
  • Most importantly - YOU have to choose to change your life in a positive way
