Eligibility
The basic eligibility qualifications for acceptance into the program are:
- Be a volunteer and willing to comply with the Program Regulations
- Be withdrawn from high school, 16-18 years of age
- Be a citizen or legal resident of the U.S. and a resident of Montana
- Be drug free
- Not be on parole or probation
- No Felony
- Be capable of passing a basic medical exam
- Be subject to random drug testing
- Have a desire to be challenged physically, emotionally, and academically
A mandatory drug screen will be conducted during Pre-ChalleNGe. Applicants may not enter the Residential Phase if they test positive for the presence of illegal drugs.
Some things to remember about the Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program:
- MYCP is a tobacco free program
- MYCP is a closed campus environment (you can't come and go as you please)
- MYCP is a volunteer program (you have to want to be here)
- All students are subject to random drug testing
- Most importantly - YOU have to choose to change your life in a positive way
