The Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program assists at-risk Montana youth in developing skills and abilities necessary to become productive citizens through focusing upon the physical, emotional, and educational needs of the youth within a highly structured environment.

Awards

Congratulations to The Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program for being the recipient of the 2005 USO AWARD for Health & Hygiene!!

The Montana Youth ChalleNGe Program was also the recipient of the 2004 USO AWARD for Physical Fitness.

During the Residential Phase of MYCP each Cadet has the opportunity for multiple awards, which I've listed below.

    Adjutant Generals Award
    Commandant's Award
    Most Improved Cadet Award
    Community Service Award
    Physical Fitness Award
    JMG Public Speaking Award
    National Physical Fitness Award
    Presidential Physical Fitness Award
    Iron Cadet Award

Permanent Leadership is also available once the Company reaches Phase III. These positions are awarded through an interview process and merit status. Once elected, these Cadets will maintain their position until Graduation as long as they uphold ChalleNGe standards and are doing a good job! They are:

    Company Commander
    1st Sergeant
    X.O.
    Company Supply
    Company Admin/Operations Officer
    Company Guideon
    (Each of the below apply for each individual Platoon)

    1st Squad Leader
    2nd Squad Leader

The Student Government is through Jobs for Montana's Graduates (JMG) and they have the following Leadership Positions:

    President
    Vice President
    1st Platoon Representative
    2nd Platoon Representative
    3rd Platoon Representative
    Secretary
