Week 3 Cadet of the Week
Demetrius Tracy


Cadet Tracy is from Detroit Michigan.  Since arriving at the MYCA he has performed duties as a squad leader and has been selected as a member of the Academy weight training team.  He scored a 484 out of a possible 500 points on his latest physical fitness test, which is the highest score in the Company.  Cadet Tracy was also recognized with a Certificate of Commendation for his performance during Pre-Challenge.  In addition Cadet Tracy has been selected to represent the MYCA at the National Challenge Conference in Washington DC.

 

Week 4 Cadet of the Week
Jeremy Cramer
 

Cadet Cramer is from South Lyon Michigan.  Since coming to the Michigan Youth Challenge Academy he has set himself out among his peers by consistently performing above the standards.  Cadet Cramer recently set a new Academy record by performing 231 pushups on his last PT Test.  He has been selected has a member of the Academy weight training team and has been afforded the high honor of being awarded a spot on the MYCA Color guard.

 

Week 6 Cadet of the Week
Robert  Flint

Cadet Flint is from Jonesville, Michigan.  Since arriving to the MYCA, he has performed duties as a Squad Leader and has been selected to serve on the Academy weight training team and the silent drill team.  He has excelled in the classroom, earning a 4.25 grade point average and currently has the highest grade in the company in Social Studies and Math.
 
 
Week 7 Cadet of the Week
Chadd Bender
 
Cadet Bender is from Battle Creek, Michigan.  Since arriving to the MYCA, he has performed duties as the Platoon Sergeant for 1st Platoon and has been selected to serve on the Academy silent drill team.  He was also elected by his peers to represent them on the Student Council.  He has excelled not only in the classroom, where his lowest grade is an A-, but also at physical fitness, where he scored a 426 out of a possible 500 points on his last physical fitness test, executing 150 push-ups.
