The Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy intervenes in the lives of at-risk youth by training, mentoring, and developing these individuals into responsible and productive citizens while in a controlled, quasi-military, residential setting, followed by a post-residential phase.

    Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy Thanksgiving Pass
    Wednesday, November 27th to Sunday, November 30th

    ***RSVP REQUIRED by November 17.  Please call 877-860-0003 or email Ann.Bradley@hoosieryouth.org.***

    A Parent or Legal Guardian must sign out Cadet! 

    Cadets are taking academic tests on this day, so please do not anticipate an early release. Dismissal will begin at 4:00PM.

    Pick up date and time: Wednesday November 26.
    On this day your Cadet must be picked up no earlier than 4:00PM and no later than 6:00PM. Dinner will NOT BE served here at the Academy.

    Return date and time: Sunday November 30.
    On this date your Cadet must be brought back to the Academy no earlier than 5:00PM and no later than 7:00PM. Dinner will NOT BE served here at the Academy. Please ensure your Cadet eats prior to their return.

    Only Parents or Legal Guardians are authorized to sign your Cadet Out and In for this pass. Please come in through the Academy main doors and bring your ID.

    ***Your Cadet will be drug tested and searched for prohibited items upon returning to the Academy. Parents will be required to stay until these actions are completed as Cadet will be terminated if they fail the drug test.***

    Reminder Note: Please keep in mind our thoughts for You and your Cadet’s safety. Plan travel time with regards to busy traffic and please remember to wear your seat belt.

    Hoosier Youth ChalleNGe Academy Graduation
    Saturday, December 20th

    ***Please RSVP by December 12 to Ann.Bradley@Hoosieryouth.org or 877-860-0003.***

    The graduation will be held in Franklin Community High School Performing Arts Auditorium located at 2600 Cumberland Drive in Franklin, Indiana.

    Please arrive no later than 9:30 AM. This will allow you time to find a seat. Your Cadets will be seated at 9:50 AM. Graduation begins promptly at 10:00 AM.

    Doors to the Franklin High School will remain closed until 9 AM, please respect the arrival time as the time prior to 9 AM is required for ChalleNGe staff members to prepare for your Cadets Special Event.

    Your Cadet will have several items going home with them that they have earned over the course of 5 1/2 months along with their personal items they brought with them. Please plan accordingly for space in your vehicle.

     

    Franklin Community High School has recently relocated. Please ensure you keep the following directions to their new location! We look forward to seeing you on Graduation Day.

    From US 31
    If you are on US 31 we are just north of the Wal-Mart and Lowe's. There is a stoplight at Commerce Drive. (with a Carter Lumber and Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corners). Head west on Commerce Drive. The high school is just ahead on the north side of the road. Take the second entrance into the school and proceed north into the athletic parking lot.

    From I-65 North
    Exit I-65 at the Whiteland exit (exit 95) and head west to US 31 South. Go south on US 31 until you reach Commerce Drive. There is a stoplight at Commerce Drive (with a Carter Lumber and Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corners). Head west on Commerce Drive. The high school is just ahead on the north side of the road. Take the second entrance into the school and proceed north into the athletic parking lot.

    From I-65 South
    Exit I-65 at the Franklin exit (exit 90) and head west to US 31 North. Go north on US 31 until you reach Commerce Drive. There is a stoplight at Commerce Drive (with a Carter Lumber and Kentucky Fried Chicken on the corners). Head west on Commerce Drive. The high school is just ahead on the north side of the road. Take the second entrance into the school proceed north into the athletic parking lot.
