With our ChalleNGe Program, Arizona National Guard will be able to fill a void by providing a challenging military-based educational program in residence for high school drop outs who desire to succeed.

Eligibility

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

The applicant must:
  • Not be on probation or parole
  • Not have ANY prior felony convictions
  • Not pending ANY legal action
  • Volunteer to enroll
  • Be willing to comply with program rules
  • Be a high school dropout or disenrollee
  • Be drug-free upon registration
  • Be unemployed
  • Be at least 16 - and not yet 20 - years old
  • Be a US citizen or permanent US resident
  • Be an Arizona resident
  • Be sponsored by a prospective mentor
   If eligibility requirements are met, the following information is needed:
  • Full name of student
  • Full names of parents or legal guardians
  • Student's Arizona address
  • Student's Arizona telephone number
  • Additional contact info (as desired)
  • Name of a prospective mentor
  • Mentor's address and telephone number
  • Disenrollment letter from last high school attended
  • Latest school transcripts

A mandatory drug screen will be conducted on opening day.  Applicants may not enter the Pre-ChalleNGe phase if they test positive for the presence of illegal drugs.
