You are cordially invited to the Class 37 Family Day event. The event is scheduled for Saturday September 24, 2011. A map to the location is included with this letter.
Family day is a picnic; therefore you may bring your son or daughter’s favorite food. However, students are not permitted to bring food or unauthorized items back to campus. Please remember, students are not to leave the premises for any reason.
What: Family Day Picnic
Date: Saturday September 24, 2011 Time: 12:00 –5:00pm
Location: Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek.
The address is 22201 S. Hawes Rd. Queen Creek AZ. 85142 (See enclosed map). Parking will be in specified areas, please follow directions of attendants.
What to bring:
-Picnic Meal – Enough to feed your cadet and your family
-Water / Soda / Gatorade
-Chairs / Blankets / folding tables – Some Park Dept Picnic Tables are available
-Frisbee / Softball and Gloves / Football / Soccer Ball / Yard Games / Radio / Guitars – etc. (No Amplified Music) -If you wish to grill, bring charcoal and portable grills for grilling – only a few Park Dept. Grills are available. -Bring portable shade such as beach umbrellas, tarps or canopies - shaded areas are very limited
Prohibited Items: (What NOT to bring) - NO PETS
-Alcohol Products / Beverages -Tobacco Products
-Illegal Drugs / Drug Paraphernalia
-Weapons
-Energy Drinks such as Monster, Full Throttle, etc.-excessive caffeine content
Itinerary:
11:30 pm: Students / Parents arrive
12:00 pm: Students perform a Drill and Ceremony Exhibition
12:15 pm: Parents and Students Time / Visit Parent Association Booth
5:00 pm : PARENTS MUST DEPART PARK DUE TO NEXT PARK EVENT!!!
