Dear Alumni:

  Here is the Scholarship application.  This application has been revised to better give the scholarship committee a better understanding of you and what you have been doing since graduating from Project ChalleNGe.

  You can mail the completed scholarship package to my attention at the below address or you can deliver the whole packet in person.  If it would be easier you can email it to me but it is your responsibility to make sure everything is formatted correctly.  I will not edit, format or make any changes to what you send.

  I’ve provided the following checklist for your convenience; the scholarship package must be in the following order:

1.  Cover Sheet
2.  Application Information Sheet
3.  Essay (typed) 300 words or more.
4.  2 Letters of Recommendation
    (If in school -one from a teacher. If working - one from your boss)
5.  Copy of college transcripts
6.  Copy of your next semester registration schedule or official letter of school acceptance.

Essay hints:  
-    If you are renewing your scholarship, write about how you are doing in school, if you are on target to graduate.  How the scholarship is helping you.
-    If this is your first time, write why you are now going back to school. How you will use this scholarship. Explain to the committee any circumstances that may have occurred. (Getting out of the military, losing job, etc.)
