About Us

Academic Challenge

We provide 200+ hours of instruction aimed at getting the cadet ready to take the G.E.D. test.

Operational Concept:

Team Academics' pedagogical philosophy is: promotion of the concept of life long learning. Highly qualified and experienced teachers work toward the goal of preparing each cadet to pass the state administered G.E.D test. The teachers provide individualized day-to-day instruction, tutoring, and
academic counseling as required and needed.

PROGRAM MISSION STATEMENT:

The Arkansas National Guard Youth ChalleNGe Program will intervene and reclaim the life of qualified at-risk youth by providing the opportunity to learn the values, skills, and self-discipline necessary to become productive citizens through education, leadership, training, and mentoring of cadets in a controlled, quasi-military sytstem spanning both the residential and post-residential phases and beyond.
